Overview:	The Department offers a 24/7 hotline (0800 DOC HOT) for conservation emergencies. This phone number is widely used by the public to report illegal or suspicious activity, injured or dead wildlife, damage to the Department of Conservation (DOC) land/assets and accidents or safety issues. Our internal customer service team is responsible for our emergency hotline and answers calls between 8am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday. We are seeking an external provider to answer and action calls outside of our business hours, as well as agreed ad-hoc cover during business hours.

Overview:	Each year the kakī recovery programme breeds 100-150 birds. One of the three aviaries was removed due to structural failures. To support the kakī recovery programme, the Department of Conservation (DOC) is procuring a qualified and experienced steel building contractor to undertake the construction of a new steel framed superstructure. The building design will include mesh cladding, concrete pad footing, steel meshed doors. The contractor will also be required to undertake sourcing of specialised materials.
