The Dunedin City Council’s (DCC’s) 3 Waters group, together with our Business Information Services (BIS) team are about to initiate a project to implement a smart water metering solution for non-domestic (i.e. non-residential) water users, enabling the DCC to improve the efficiency of the water network, reduce overall water usage, meter reading costs and billing complaints, queries and inaccuracy.

We are seeking a solution that provides end-to-end advanced water-metering infrastructure.
This will include the supply and installation of Smart-Meters, Communications Network and Back-End Processing of Meter Usage Outputs to the DCC Billing Platform and to provide a DCC Customer Portal.
