Overview:	The Dunedin City Council (DCC) owns and maintains the footpath infrastructure along State Highway (SH) 88, the road to Port Chalmers. This includes the responsibility of the safety fencing. The tender is for replacement of up to 1km of chain link fencing across six sites. The exact amount of fencing work included in the final contract is subject to the available budget and sites will be prioritised accordingly. It is important for us that we work with a Contractor experienced in completing fencing renewal including post installation. We want to partner with a Contractor who has a track record of delivering quality work and has the relevant experience and the available resources to complete this work by 31 December 2026. Work hours are restricted for some sites and respondents must allow for this in their programme. This work impacts on the State Highway (SH88) Network, and we seek to partner with a Contractor that will ensure a comprehensive risk-based approach to traffic management.

Overview:	The DCC is undertaking a renewals project at its Moana Pool Aquatics facility. As part of this project, it has been identified that the existing HVAC & Heat Recovery (HR) system requires some refurbishment to ensure continued performance and provide a comfortable environment for the facilities users. DCC is seeking an appropriately experienced contracting partner to deliver the upgrade works on a design and build (D&B) basis. The proposed Main Hall & Dive Pool HR system will provide operational energy, cost and emissions reductions compared to current operations. Continuity of service is essential to the Moana Pool. • The associated works will need to be staged and closely coordinated with the pool staff and the Facility Events Schedule. • The pool will need to remain open during normal operational hours 5:30am to 9:30pm. • This may require some temporary ventilation when individual HVAC systems are down.

Overview:	The Dunedin City Council (DCC) 3 Waters Group manages the DCC’s drinking water, wastewater and stormwater systems. These activities are subject to external drinking water and environmental regulatory regimes. The DCC is seeking proposals for the provision of monitoring, analysis and reporting services that require specialist ecological and environmental science skills. Specifically, the services the DCC is seeking relate to: • Stormwater monitoring, analysis and reporting, including stormwater discharge quality and receiving environment monitoring required by the resource consents for discharges from the stormwater system. • Other discharge-related environmental monitoring, analysis and reporting, as required by resource consents for discharges from DCC wastewater and water treatment plants. • Monitoring, analysis and reporting of cyanobacteria for DCC drinking water sources, in accordance with the DCC’s cyanobacteria monitoring and response plans prepared under with the Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules. We seek to partner with a Supplier for the long term with a contract of up to 10 years, subject to performance. We want a Supplier that is proactive, allocates staff resources efficiently, takes ownerships, meets deadlines and can demonstrate a dynamic approach to their work. It is important that the successful Supplier works collaboratively with us and has the flexibility to respond to urgent, reactive monitoring, analysis and reporting when routine monitoring provides results that are unexpected and/or indicate an issue that requires an immediate response.

Overview:	The Dunedin City Council (DCC) seeks to engage a lead contractor, an Electrical Company, to upgrade the electrical systems at Olveston Historic Home (Olveston), 42 Royal Terrace, Dunedin. A non-invasive visual inspection of the buildings has identified electrical upgrade works. Engaging and working with nominated sub-contractors will be part of the Electrical Contractor’s role to ensure that the carpentry, plaster and painting work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner in conjunction with the electrical work. The successful Contractor and subcontractors will be required to work in consultation with heritage specialists appointed by the DCC. We seek submissions from suitably qualified and experienced electrical contractors. It is important for us that we work with a Contractor experienced in electrical work on heritage buildings and can demonstrate a track record of completing compliant work in a sympathetic manner whilst preserving the original heritage fabric. We require the Contractor to adhere to programme to ensure our project deadline of 30 September 2026 is achieved. The Contractor will need to efficiently utilise the two-month period (July/August) when the building is closed to the public to carry out all work in public areas. Overview:	The Dunedin City Council (DCC) owns the Edgar Centre Building at 116 Portsmouth Drive, Dunedin. The Edgar Centre comprises three main parts, the ‘Wool Store’ building, the More FM Arena, and the entrance and function spaces. These sections were all constructed at different times between 1978 and 1996. The DCC are seeking to partner with a suitably qualified, capable, and experienced main contractor to improve leaks and condensation build-up in all three sections of the building. The work package includes temporary repair work on the Wool Store roof, and permanent remediation work on the More FM roof and a section of roof between buildings known as the ‘Link’. The Edgar Centre is a heavily utilised community events and recreational facility, offering indoor courts, an arena, conference/function spaces, and administration areas for the Trust and sports organisations. It is important that the supplier can work with key stakeholders and adhere to a tight schedule to ensure safe and continued delivery of the events programme.
