The Department of Corrections is issuing this forward notice of its intention to seek proposals from Main Contractors for the construction of the Waikeria Prison Development - Expansion Project.

This project is to deliver the construction of three new high security accommodation buildings, a number of ancillary buildings and a secure perimeter wall, underground services, sealed internal roads and landscaping and associated infrastructure adjacent to the existing Waikeria Prison in the Southern Waikato.
