This Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO) provides early notice of a planned procurement. It is subject to change or cancellation and is not a commitment to purchase.
The Department of Corrections, Ara Poutama Aotearoa is planning to procure rongoā Māori services that will be delivered in 14 prison sites across Aotearoa for up to 5 years
We intend to run an open competitive tender to select providers who can deliver services to one or more of the following sites:
• Northland Region Corrections Facility
• Auckland Prison
• Mount Eden Corrections Facility
• Auckland Region Women’s Corrections Facility
• Spring Hill Corrections Facility
• Waikeria Prison
• Whanganui Prison
• Manawatu Prison
• Rimutaka Prison
• Arohata Prison
• Christchurch Men’s Prison
• Rolleston Prison
• Otago Corrections Facility
• Invercargill Prison
We expect to publish a Request for Proposal (RFP) on GETS in May or June 2026.
