Ara Poutama Aotearoa is pleased to advise the supplier market of an upcoming opportunity to deliver Hōkai Tapuwae. Hōkai Tapuwae is the name given to a Māori therapeutic cultural intervention intended to support an individual’s rehabilitation and/or reintegration. The purpose of the intervention is to inform culturally appropriate rehabilitation and reintegration treatment pathways for Māori. The service comprises an interview with a referred person, and a report detailing the findings.
We will be undertaking a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, inviting responses from all suitably qualified suppliers in interviewing and structured report writing, who can also demonstrate the required cultural capability.
It is anticipated a Request for Proposal will be listed on GETS in June 2025, and interested suppliers will be able to ask questions, and/or submit a response via the GETS system.
