Land Management Services
Overview
• This plan relates to the purchase of Land Management Services (LMS) for Ara Poutama Aotearoa – Department of Corrections (the ‘Department’).
• The required LMS will cover:
o the disposal of Crown owned land and its other supporting functions such as managing the land valuation process, instructing surveyors and manage the survey process.
o the acquisition of land for the Department for the delivery of a public work.
o the provision of general property advice.
o support and input for other maters associated with Crown owned land such as leases including rental valuations, licenses, covenants, easements.
• The objectives of this procurement are to:
o obtain one preferred LINZ Accredited provider to cover the required LMS; and
o enter into a contract for an initial three (3) year term plus two (2) two (2) year rights of renewal to make a total term of seven (7) years.
