ADVANCE NOTICE ONLY

The purpose of this Notice is to provide advance notification to the market of Ara Poutama Aotearoa’s (Department of Corrections’), (the Department’s) intention to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the supply of Mobile/Portable Radiology Services to People in Our Care in the Northern and Central Regions to Department at the following sites:

- Auckland Prison
- Auckland Region Women’s Corrections Facility
- Mount Eden Corrections Facility
- Spring Hill Corrections Facility

The Department is seeking the supply of Mobile/Portable Radiology Services to People in Our Care in the Northern and Central Regions which provides Mobile/Portable X-ray Radiology Services to people in our care on our sites including reading and reporting findings of x-ray results.

The Department considers Mobile/portable radiology services to be a portable X-Ray machine that is transported via a vehicle to the respective site and then wheeled into the Health Centre to facilitate in taking the required X-Ray.

The RFP is intended to be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) in late January to early February 2022.

Note: No information from potential respondents is requested nor required from this advance notice. Suppliers who are interested in being part of the proposed RFP process should ensure that they are registered to receive GETS notifications for the applicable RFx Categories.
