The purpose of this Notice is to provide advance notification to the market of the Department of Corrections’ intention to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the supply of Out of Gate Reintegration Services to Department.

The Department is seeking the supply of providers to:
• Deliver a rolling reintegration programme.
• Support individuals in prisons with their reintegration needs.
• Support the individual and their whanau transition to the community for up to six months.
• Have emergency accommodation options for individuals if needed.

The Department will be running supplier briefing sessions in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch to provide information about the Out of Gate Reintegration Services in advance of the release of the RFP.

Supplier briefings will provide more detail on the content and structure of the Out of Gate Reintegration Services, this will include; service specifications and design, target group, funding model and key deliverables. These briefings will allow prospective suppliers to ask questions about the Out of Gate Reintegration Services and the procurement approach.

If you are unable to attend any of these briefings the Department can arrange one to one teleconferences to discuss information presented and answer any questions you may have. One on one sessions will only be available between 20-31 May 2019.

The RFP is intended to be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) in mid to late June 2019.

Note: No information from potential respondents is requested nor required from this advance notice. Suppliers who are interested in being part of the proposed RFP process should ensure that they are registered to receive GETS notifications for the applicable RFx Categories.
