This notice is to provide advance notification to the market that the Department of Corrections intends to post Request for Proposals to provide Minibus Passenger Van Internal Fit-outs:
• This relates to the purchase of bespoke passenger seating fit-out of minibus vans that will be supplied by the Department to the provider;
• a requirement to replace between 30 to 70 minibus passenger vans per annum, up to 285 minibus passenger vans over the next seven (7) financial years;
• all of these vehicles will need to be fitted out in accordance with the Department’s specifications that will be supplied with the RFP;
• The supplied base vehicles will be a medium to large shell van having the capability when fitted out to carry up to 10 passengers excluding the driver. Currently the standardised van is a Toyota Hiace ZX auto diesel, model KDAZX.
The request for proposals is intended to be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) at end of Jan 2019.
No information from potential respondents is requested or required from this advance notice. Providers who are interested in being part of the proposed request for proposals process should ensure that they are registered to receive GETS notifications for the applicable RFx Categories.
