Overview

Watercare is seeking a specialist consultant to help us design the implementation plan for our Complex Asset Maintenance (CAM) programme - our initiative to rebuild reliability-centred maintenance capability across our water and wastewater infrastructure. This is a focused, time-bounded engagement. The consultant will assess our current state, run structured workshops with our internal teams, and produce a clear, actionable delivery roadmap that we can move straight into execution. The work is not a study or a report for its own sake - it is the foundation for a multi-year programme that will materially change how we plan and execute maintenance across our assets.

Watercare has a large asset base and our maintenance programme is significant. This engagement is explicitly the first step in a multi-year programme. A consultant who performs well here is well-placed to be considered for the implementation work that follows.
You will work with experienced internal people who take asset management seriously. The organisation has the mandate and the motivation to execute what comes out of this engagement.
If you have successfully implemented and embedded a sustainable optimised asset maintenance programme, underpinned by RCA, RCM and RAMS methodologies, within complex infrastructure environments and want to partner with an organisation that is serious about achieving long-term asset management excellence, then this is a compelling opportunity.
