Watercare Services Limited (Watercare) is providing advance notice of an upcoming procurement opportunity for design and construction services to undertake the Waikato Water Supply Programme (WWSP).
The WWSP comprises a new water treatment plant, approximately 50km of pipeline, a storage reservoir, and ancillary works.
This project will require a consortia of a contractor(s) and designer(s) to become Non-Owner Participants in an Alliance with Watercare to deliver the works.

A Town Hall will be held via MS Teams on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 at 10:30am NZT.
This Town Hall will discuss the scope of work and procurement process in greater detail, and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
