Watercare Services Ltd is undertaking an upgrade of the UV disinfection system equipment at the Māngere Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Building on the successful upgrade of four UV channels in 2018, Watercare now intends to upgrade the remaining eight channels of the twelve-channel system. The current equipment is nearing end-of-life, and replacement with modern technology is expected to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

The scope of supply includes for both four and eight channel options:
• Provision of UV disinfection equipment
• Storage and handling of equipment prior to installation
• Support for installation and commissioning activities
This tender represents a key investment in maintaining the performance and resilience of Watercare’s wastewater treatment infrastructure.
