We require experienced Electrical Contractors to undertake a large-scale upgrade project. The project includes electrical and control system installation modifications of hundreds of 24x7x365 operational water and wastewater network facilities. The Electrical Contractors are required to be based in Auckland during the Works associated with this project. We are looking for Electrical Contractors who can fulfil the entire scope safely, without disruption to the production facilities’ operation, and meet Watercare’s target dates.
It is important to us that the successful Participants are capable of working on a staged upgrade of pre-defined Watercare packages of work and meeting Watercare target dates.
Participants must have a minimum of 5 years electrical and control system installation works experience and a proven track record in New Zealand in similar projects and operational process environments.
Participants should be familiar with Watercare standards and requirements and have successfully completed a significant upgrade of a similar nature.
Each Response must meet all of the preconditions listed in the RFP Response. Participants who are unable to meet all preconditions in full should conclude that they will not benefit from submitting a Response.
Watercare prefers that all interested Participants attend an in-person RFP group briefing to be held in Auckland.
It is essential for all interested Participants to read the conditions carefully, in particular the requirements of the RFP Section 1.8 and 1.9.
