Overview

This is a service contract for hydraulic and mechanical maintenance of the Te Matau a Pohe and Kotuitui Whitinga opening bridges in Whangarei City, including the provision of 24 hour, 7 day week emergency service.

The work includes undertaking inspections, routine and preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and repair of accident damage within the times specified. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance, repair or replacement of all components associated with the rams, pumps, valves, filters, pipework, manifolds, oil reservoirs, shock absorbers, rack and track, rubber bearing pads and Teflon pads.

The key outcomes for this contract are keeping the Te Matau a Pohe and Kotuitui Whitinga bridges operating and well maintained in a cost-effective manner.

The initial term of this contract is 2 years with a possible 3 year roll-over subject to meeting performance criteria.
