The scope of this contract is to install new trunk rising and gravity water mains between Athenree water bores and Athenree reservoir at Westwood Road, Athenree.
Approximately 320 metres of 355mm OD, PE 100, PN 12.5 polyethylene pipe Rising Main.
Approximately 320 metres of 450mm OD, PE100, PN 12.5 polyethylene pipe Gravity Main.
Water Bore rising Main Approximately 55 metres 250mm OD of PE 100 PN 20 and 15 metres of 125 OD PE 100 PN 20
Install any Tee’s, and Valves and other fittings at identified locations.
Supply all associated fittings, materials and machinery required to complete the installation, testing and commissioning of the new bulk water mains.
The work consists of the construction of new water reticulation assets and connection to existing mains.
This is a measure and value contract to construct a new water main.
The first requirement of the contract is to “pothole” all points of connecting the new water main into the existing water main, to check that the pipe materials are in fact what is stated in the database.
