Western Bay of Plenty District Council wishes to procure services for groundwater exploration within the Eastern Supply Zone, with a primary focus on the planning, drilling, and testing of investigation bores to characterise subsurface hydrogeological conditions.

The objective is to collect high-quality geological, hydraulic, and water quality data to improve understanding of aquifer properties, groundwater availability, and recharge dynamics.

The information obtained will be used to assess the feasibility of developing sustainable production bores, including yield potential, drawdown behaviour, and long-term reliability, and to inform the optimal design, placement, and construction specifications of future production infrastructure.
