Western Bay of Plenty District Council (WBOPDC) is wishing to procure a resilient engineering design, cost estimate and construction programme that will allow WBOPDC to go to the market for appropriately qualified and experienced civil, mechanical and electrical contractors to reinstate the Waihi Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant (WBWWTP) to full design capacity and operation. This will included the installation of a new HDPE liner for the existing single Sequencing Activated Sludge (SAS) lagoon. In addition, on call consultancy services will be required throughout the construction phase of the project.

WBOPDC is looking for a Respondent who can:
• Provide an engineering design that enables the timely completion of the physical works required to re establish the WBWWTP to its original capacity and function,
• Develop and implement innovative work methods and/or materials that result in enhanced performance and an overall cost saving,
• Comply with all conditions and requirements of the contract including Quality Assurance, and Health and Safety.
