Overview
The Contract Works comprise of construction works associated with the upgrade and maintenance of coastal structures in the Western Bay of Plenty District. The work includes but is not limited to:
• Filling of voids behind existing seawalls
• Minor beach re-nourishment
• Repair of timber seawalls
• Replacement of timber seawalls
• Construction of rock revetment structures
• Corrosion protection coating of steel handrails
• Dredging of a channel adjacent to a boat ramp
• Replacement of timber decking, handrail and joists on an existing timber jetty
• Demolition of a timber jetty
• Replacement of damaged reinforced concrete boat ramps
• Replacement of damaged geosynthetic sand containers in an existing seawall
