CONTRACT 24/19 - District Road Maintenance – Request for Tender
We are pleased to advise that the Waimakariri District Council has accepted the tender from CORDE Limited for the above contract.
The Contract was awarded on 30 September 2025, and the scope of the contract is for:
• The maintenance of the transport network within the Waimakariri District.
The contract will commence on 1 November 2025, with the initial term due to expire on 31 October 2028. This Contract also includes two optional extensions of one year each.
The tender process included a Registration of Interest (ROI), which was a public (open) process and was the first stage of the procurement, followed by a request for tender which was an invited (closed) process and was the second stage of the procurement. The Price Quality Method (PQM) was used for tender evaluation.
Two conforming tenders were received for this contract. An alternative tender was also received however this alternative was not accepted by Council.
The expected spend under this contract is $39,239,638.48 over three years, excluding GST.
