Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the above contract.

This Contract is for the Installation of eight client supplied Humes 6.0m x 2.0m x 1.5m box culverts, in the Southbrook Stream on Townsend Road in Rangiora. Each box section weighs 19.3 Tonnes

The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Installing a stream bypass,
- Dewatering
- Protecting services including the critical water main supply main to Rangiora,
- Installing a gravel foundation
- Cartage, unloading and installation of culvert units
- Installing anchor block retaining walls,
- Backfilling,
- Road surfacing,
- Guardrails,
- Signage and road marking

This Contract requires the contractor to be prequalified to a minimum of Tier A of Category 10: Road Improvements, Kerbing and Road Drainage or Tier A of Category 12: Gravity Systems.
