CONTRACT 23/46 KERB AND CHANNEL RENEWALS 2023 / 2024
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the above contract.
This contract is for the renewal of ageing kerb and channel, associated footpath and drainage works at the following locations in Rangiora:
• Geddis Street (both sides, No. 26 to White Street)
• Edward Street (eastern side, Wales Street to the end)
• Alfred Street (southern side, Ivory Street to Victoria Street)
In addition to the kerb and channel renewals, this contract also includes the following minor works:
• Installation of a pedestrian refuge island on West Belt
• Installation of a pedestrian refuge island on Ivory Street

We are pleased to advise that the Waimakariri District Council has accepted the tender from
Pidgeon Contracting Limited with a tender price of $686,107.45 for the above contract.
Possession of site is given on Monday 29th January 2024, with a due date for completion of
Friday 03rd May 2024.
