The University requires a 25 GHz phase noise analyser:
A benchtop cross-correlation phase noise analyser with long operation lifetime. The device must have an input RF signal range of at least 1 MHz to 25 GHz and a frequency offset range of at least 0.1 Hz to 100 MHz. The phase noise analyser will be used to characterise the stability of high-coherence optical pulses detected by a fast photodetector; thus, a low input RF signal threshold level and a low measurement noise floor are expected.
