The University requires a system to provide remote alarms for freezers and other equipment that needs controlled parameter (such as humidity). The system should serve ~100 ultra-cold freezers (-80°C) and provide alert to mobile devices/ computers when temperatures increase above a set threshold. The system comprises of individual sensors for each freezer that connect to a centralised (web-based) system that can provide alert to mobile devices (via text or web accessibility) or computers.
