Overview
The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences/Technical Services/Biomedical Imaging Research Unit is looking to procure an automated slide-scanner capable of imaging tissue sections in both brightfield and polarised light mode. The slide-scanner should be equipped with a slide-loader to allow high throughput.
The slide-scanner will be used primarily for research purposes but will also be employed for demonstrating teaching in academic courses as well as providing capability to scan slides that are used to support teaching. It is expected that there will also be some external clients interested in using the system
