Overview

The Tararua District Council (TDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced main construction contractor to design and build new water reservoirs at Dannevirke and Woodville. The procurement of the main contractor (at this ROI/EOI stage ) will assess the capability and capacity for the main contractor to deliver the project.

The ROI/EOI will result in a shortlist which will be invited to the RFP stage for pricing, work programme and methodology. The work will be staged into Tranche 1 for Dannevirke (at Blue Gum Lane), and the successful completion of that work may see the award of Tranche 2 for the proposed work at Woodville (at Oxford Road). TDC will provide a design and build package with the RFP once it has all structural, civil, geo-tech, mechanical and electrical documentation.

TDC is seeking main contractors who can offer -

> Construction Experience and Track Record. (in water infrastructure assets)
> Technical and Operational Capability.
> Financial Stability, H&S, Accreditation and Compliance.
> Team Capacity and Resource Availability.
> Subcontractor and Stakeholder engagement experience.

This project presents a unique opportunity for experienced main contractor to be part of a significant community development and water resilience project that will deliver lasting value.
