Tararua District Council (TDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experience commercial contractor to paint the exterior of the Dannevirke Town Hall.
The successful contractor will have a demonstrable track record and experience in similiar sized projects. The project will include all stages include building wash, priming, coating, surface preparation and painting. Remediation will be include for any latent and apparent building defects around weather-tightness. The successful supplier will have -
> A health and safety prequalification such as SIte Wise or equivalent (75%>)
> Contractor insurance.
> Experience with height access equipment, working at heights and fall arrest systems.
> The ability to provide a SSSP and traffic management plan where requested.
> A robust methodolgy and timeline for all stages, and a risk management plan.
Pricing will need to include all considerations for preliminary and general costs, time, mobilsation, labour and materials. Any coatings may also consider being environmentally friendly where beneficial and also be graffit resistant.
Key outcomes will be to restore the exterior town hall surfaces to a high standard, improving its visual appeal and longevity. The contractor will adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, ensuring mininal disruption to the Town Hall operations. The project will contribute to the perservation and maintenance of an important community landmark.
