Toka Hapāi (Selwyn Health Hub) is growing as a local centre for various health services for the people of the Selwyn district and potentially from southern Christchurch and Ashburton district. The remaining unoccupied space of Toka Hapāi is a large floor space available on the first floor of the building. This is an ideal location to create a Community Health and Social Service Hub. This would provide a safe environment to connect individuals to health services to improve their health outcomes. The concept, which is utilised internationally, can act as a central point of contact for individuals to improve their health through an integrated care approach. This is through health services working in together to meet the needs of the individual.
Selwyn District Council invites providers of health services who would be interested in being part of the Community Health services Hub at Toka Hapāi to register their interest.
