Overview:
Selwyn District Council is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from New Zealand Registered Charities having an interest in providing local social housing within Selwyn. Following registration with Government Electronic Tender Services (GETS), a viewing of the property will be arranged and a tender pack will be sent out. Tenders will be submitted as part of a deadline sale process.
Background:
Selwyn District Council are reducing their housing stock, and resolved to declare surplus and dispose of a number of houses and one section on Ritso Street in Darfield. Five houses and one section have been sold. One house, 3 Ritso St, is now ready to be disposed of and is being offered to NZ Charities. The property has a benchmark price to meet due to right of first refusal obligations with local iwi. If the property does not sell through this tender process it will be offered for sale on the open market.
