Overview
The Contract Works will deliver a series of new or enhanced passing opportunities on the Crown Range Road between SH6 and Cardrona. This will be achieved by a combination of a new slow vehicle bay, sealing of existing gravel bays, chain bays, and extending those bays to improve usage. In addition, new signage and markings will be provided, and the chain bay temporary signage will be relocated and/or upgraded. The Scope of Works includes minor earthworks, pavement construction, surfacing (Asphaltic Concrete), signage and markings, a short section of timber guardrail, site clearance and other auxiliary/enabling works including traffic management.
