Overview

This procurement is to purchase consultancy services for the Queenstown Lakes / Central Otago subregional industrial land study. This work will be undertaken by a specialist consulting firm who has technical expertise suitable to undertake the requirements for deliverables 1-6 below. At a minimum QLDC anticipate needing services covering the deliverables set out below, but we welcome any suggestions for additional work through the proposals. Any additional deliverables should be quoted separately as part of the response.

The objective of this project is to ensure businesses that currently or may in the future operate activities on "industrial land" in the region are supported in the longer term (i.e. over the next 30 years) by confirming the amount, type and optimal spatial distribution of industrial land required in the region to support industrial operators to enable economic and job growth as the region grows and provides a regionally agreed set of actions to help achieve this.
