Queenstown Lakes District Council is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to provide project and construction cost management, for the Frankton Beach Pump Station to Shotover Conveyance Project.

A gravity sewer running roughly parallel to the Queenstown Airport’s main runway has been identified by operators and wastewater modelling as a constraint on the network. It does not have sufficient capacity to convey expected Peak Wet Weather Flows (PWWF) from the Frankton Beach Wastewater Pumpstations (WWPS) to the Shotover Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).

The scope of services required from the QS is expected to include:

• Construction estimate for the optioneering stages of the project
• Construction estimate at concept design and Detailed design
• Produce a Tender Schedule of Prices
• Pre-Tender Estimate
• Tender Analysis
• Draft Forecast for Monthly Expenditure
• Payment Recommendation including Variation Review (12-month period allowed)
