The Gordon Road Wastewater Pump Station has been identified by operators and wastewater modelling to have insufficient pumping capacity to convey expected Peak Wet Weather Flows (PWWF) to the downstream gravity network.

QLDC has initiated a project in response to this identified need. Two key project development phases are anticipated:
1. Project planning, design, and pre-implementation activities – further understanding the potential practicability and appropriateness of the concept proposed in the ‘Gordon Road WWPS Technical Memorandum’, assess the reasonably practicable response options, and plan for the implementation of agreed interventions.
2. Implementation of physical works

QLDC requires a Project Manager with strong technical knowledge to manage the project competently and efficiently through its respective Phases.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Project Phases and any related procurement activities, engaging with internal key stakeholders, ensuring land and consenting requirements are investigated, and ensuring the project is on track and on budget.
