THE OPPORTUNITY

What we need
QLDC are seeking to remediate selected sports fields in the region to offer improved irrigation,
drainage and turf.
• Irrigation
• Drainage connections
• Upgrade soak pits where necessary
• Reinstatement of cricket pitch and wicket
• Reinstatement of topsoil and grass seeding
An experienced civils main contractor is required to successfully undertake and deliver the above
objectives.

What we don’t want
We are not looking for pricing for portions of the works mentioned above and the contractor must be
able to deliver the entire scope of works and evidence of this will be required. We do not want
contractors who cannot accept the terms and conditions of the tender and QLDC’s Contractual
Agreement as well as all legislative requirements including full compliance with Health and Safety
procedures.

an excellent space for use and enjoyment by the community. A solid track record will need to be
demonstrated of similar undertaking and have effective networks and strong relationships within the
local community.
