The Quality of Life survey has been produced annually for QLDC since 2018. It provides a key source of information about the overall wellbeing of the district and what matters most to our community. The survey contains topics that align with the four wellbeings (social, economic, environmental and cultural). In recent iterations it has gauged the effects and recovery of COVID-19 on the district. The results are highly valuable in helping to shape Council's policies and plans (including the Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan and the Community Wellbeing Strategy). The results also help Council advocate on the district's behalf to government. Going forward we wish to ensure that the survey design is fit for purpose, is seeking information that is valuable to Council and the community, and is providing value for money. The Buyer wishes to purchase services to co-design and execute its Quality of Life survey on an annual basis, for three consecutive years.
