Scope of works: Opōtiki District Council [ODC] is inviting tenders for the construction of a new carpark area at Te Ahiaua Reserve (Pipi Beds), State Highway 2, Waiōtahe, Ōpōtiki.
Project Objectives: The main objective of the projects is to form a new all-weather carpark and freedom campers’ carpark as per ODC standards, contract design and Tender document.
The project objectives comprise of the following elements. All elements shall comply in all respects with the Contract documents to: Setup Resource Consent sediment controls; Under- cut and or fill existing ground (ground works); Supply, lay, compact and trim, river aggregate; Construct new concrete nib edge & kerb and channel; 2 coat (3&5) chip seal new constructed area; Line-mark area; Reinstatement of grass areas
Submission of Tenders: Tenders will close at 4:00 pm on Thursday 05 March 2020 and be delivered: By being placed in the Tender Box located at the office of the Principal, Ōpōtiki District Council, 108 St John Street, (Customer Services) Ōpōtiki 3122; or Being mailed so as to be received at the office of the Principal, Ōpōtiki District Council, 108 St John Street, (Customer Services), Ōpōtiki 3122 and placed in the Tender Box prior to the tender closing time. A public opening of Price Envelopes will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday 05 March 2020 at the Ōpōtiki District Council Administration Office, 108 St John Street, Ōpōtiki.
