Overview

Scope of Works: Ōpōtiki District Council (ODC) is inviting tenders for the following works:
Road alignment earthworks as needed; Carriageway formation and construction to an unsealed condition; Associated drainage as needed; Existing fence removal and reinstatement; New fence where required; Power line realignment as needed; Site Safety;
Reinstatement of some existing fences and construction of new fences.

Project Objectives: The main objective of the roading contract work is to provide an unsealed road carriageway suitable to be used as a construction haul road, able to cater for HPV trucks towing to site, 600,000 tonne of armour boulders, core rock and other associated construction materials. Once all heavy materials have been delivered, a suitable carriageway remains and is able to be constructed into a sealed carriageway in the future.

Submission of Tenders: Tenders will close at 4:00 pm on Thursday 20th February 2020 and be delivered: By being placed in the Tender Box located at the office of the Principal, Ōpōtiki District Council, 108 St John Street, (Customer Services) Ōpōtiki 3122; or Being mailed so as to be received at the office of the Principal, Ōpōtiki District Council, 108 St John Street, (Customer Services), Ōpōtiki 3122 and placed in the Tender Box. Tenderers shall submit tenders in three separate envelopes (as described in RFT document); all tags shall be included in a covering letter in the attribute envelope.
