NZTA wish to advise suitably qualified and experienced suppliers of their intent to release a Request for Tender for the National ITS Maintenance Contract in April 2026.

This will be a national contract responsible for approximately 1200 NZTA owned intelligent transport systems (ITS) assets.

The contract requires:
• Asset monitoring services
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Reactive maintenance
• Management of spares inventory
• Monthly activity and performance reporting

It is a 3-year contract estimated at a value of 4.2M with two optional 1-year extensions

Prequalification
The Tenderer is pre-qualified to level C or above Category 1. Maintenance and Minor works – Intelligent Transport System: Electronic signs on state highways.
