The purpose of this notice is to provide advance notification to the market of New Zealand
Police’s intention to release a tender for the Papakura Police Base Fire System Upgrade.

The Papakura Police Base Fire System Upgrade Project involves the refurbishment
and upgrade of the existing Fire systems serving the building.

The project will be replacing the Type 2 fire system, mechanical interface and passive
fire works as per associated Design, Specifications and Passive fire schedule.

The successful respondent will be engaged as the main contractor and will be
responsible for coordinating all subcontractors and delivering the multi-disciplinary
upgrade works in accordance with the issued design documentation.

The scope of this opportunity will be fully documented in the tender, however, will include

- Fire System Replacement
- Mechanical interface with new fire system
- Passive fire remediation
- Fire door review and remediation
- Associated Building Works

The tender is intended to be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (“GETS”)
from 22 June 2026.
