Overview

NZ Police’s property portfolio comprises a large number of old and outdated buildings. NZ Police wishes to uplift its property portfolio over the next decade. In addition, other smaller modular building solutions are required to supplement facilities at existing stations. NZ Police is committed to increasing the use of offsite manufactured buildings (OMB) to deliver standardised modular building solutions that are affordable and high-quality.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is the second step in a multi-step procurement process. It invites Respondents shortlisted from the prior Registration of Interest process, to submit a detailed proposal for the modular, offsite manufactured building (OMB) solution panel contract opportunity.

NZ Police anticipates this RFP process will result in the appointment of multiple suppliers to a supply panel, who can together deliver an effective portfolio of modular, OMB solutions across New Zealand for NZ Police. Subsequent contract opportunities will be allocated via a secondary procurement process.
