Overview

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) periodically publishes indicative information about potential procurement activities it is considering over the next 12 to 18 months. This information is provided to support early market awareness and supplier planning.

The activities in the attached document are not confirmed tender opportunities. All potential procurements remain subject to internal prioritisation, detailed scoping, and approvals, including funding allocation. As such, timing and scope may change, and some opportunities may not proceed.

The document does not include our in-progress procurements. To view these, please look at our openly advertised listings on GETS. It also does not show the procurements that are no longer going ahead due to funding or prioritisation decisions.

Where appropriate, and once there is greater certainty, NZDF intends to release formal procurement notices, for example, through the Government Electronic Tenders Services (GETS), in line with the Government Procurement Rules.

Suppliers are not required to respond to this indicative information. Instead, we encourage suppliers to use this information to consider future capability alignment, resourcing, and partnership opportunities within their industry in preparation for possible future engagement.

Any questions regarding future tenders should be addressed to: dcs.vm@nzdf.mil.nz
