Defence currently uses a external cloud based survey platform and is seeking to gather market intelligence on available external cloud based survey platforms that can support:
• The annual People Survey
• Psychometric screening tools
• 360-degree feedback surveys (for up to 1,000 leaders)
• Ad hoc research surveys
The platform must support up to 15,000 responses, have multi-functionality, be able to scale or adapt to future NZDF needs, meet NZISM standards, and comply with GDCO Risk Assessment GDCO105 for cloud based solutions. NZDF utilises SAP ECC6 as its enterprise application and Microsoft 365 ( M365 ) for productivity apps, it is critical that any proposed solution aligns with SAP’s established ecosystem, particularly in terms of user interface design and system integration. This ensures seamless interoperability, user adoption, and longterm sustainability.
As part of this market engagement, we are seeking to understand the extent of your experience within the New Zealand public sector. Specifically, we are interested in learning about any existing contracts, arrangements, or engagements you currently have with New Zealand Government agencies for the supply of a survey platform or related services.
Please include:
• The names of the agencies involved (where permissible).
• A brief description of the scope and nature of the engagement.
• The duration and status of the contract or arrangement.
• Any relevant outcomes or benefits delivered.
This information will help us assess your experience in delivering solutions within the context of New Zealand Government requirements and operating environments.

The NZDF Survey Platform RFI provided a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insight into the supplier landscape and the range of potential solutions available. The responses have assisted with our efforts to deliver public value for New Zealanders and meet our obligations to the NZ Government, particularly in reporting and supporting our Military Personnel.
