Overview

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is exploring the potential establishment of a Defence Technology Accelerator that will enhance its ability to identify, develop, test and integrate new and emerging technologies into defence capabilities. Many promising innovations outside the traditional defence sector are being missed from consideration and the proposed accelerator programme could provide structured and agile pathways to engage with such innovations.

We invite responses from a broad range of stakeholders, including technology developers, accelerators, research institutions, industry groups, and international organisations. By contributing to this RFI, you will help shape a major new initiative before any formal structures or decisions are finalised. Respondents may also be invited to participate in workshops or further engagement as the initiative progresses.
