The NZDF have run a closed competitive process within the market of suppliers that can deliver to our specific geographical locations and national security requirements. Following tender evaluation, First Security Guard Services Limited (9429037661953) of 29 Customs Street West, Auckland, NZ have been identified as the preferred respondent for the provision of in-scope security guard services.
The contract was signed on 26 June 2025 and will commence 1 July 2025 for an initial term of 2-years with one 1-year right of renewal. The estimated value of the agreement remains within the $500k - $1M threshold identified on GETS. Broader social and cultural outcomes have been achieved through training provided to staff and payment of the living wage that will be reviewed each year in line with central government guidance.
