The New Zealand Fence Force (NZDF) intends to advertise an opportunity for the provision of Domestic and International Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage Services in late June/early July 2024.
These services include movement and security of general freight and controlled technologies, Expeditionary Support Services, NZDF deployments and special projects (such as Heavy Lift and aircraft engines) to, from and within New Zealand.
NZDF intends to seek Registrations of Interest (ROI) from established organisations who hold relevant licenses and international approvals to manage the global movement of military equipment.
Organisations that meet these requirements will then be invited to respond to a closed Request for Proposal (RFP); NZDF estimate that the RFP will be issued in October 2024.
