The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is seeking to engage with the market to provide a wide range of wearables for its personnel. Wearables covers military uniforms, ceremonial attire and personal equipment such as body armour, packs, helmets and other associated products.
This Registration of Interest (ROI) is seeking responses from suppliers with an understanding and experience of military wearables and their manufacture, global supply chain and logistics management, inventory services, tailoring and other associated services. The ROI evaluation purpose is to identify and short-list Responses which best meet the specified criteria.
The proposed contract for supply will start in July 2021 and will run for an initial period of 10 years and may be extended.

New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is pleased to announce that Australian Defence Apparel (ADA) has been selected as the Successful Respondent to RFP_2030 Wearables Supply and Managed Services. The current contract with Workwear Group (WWG) expires at the end of June 2021, and will be immediately followed by a transition-out period going into 2022. During this period, both ADA and WWG will gradually transfer all supply and services responsibilities to ensure no disruption to NZDF output requirements. NZDF wish to acknowledge the longstanding working relationship with WWG and thank them for their contribution to the NZDF.
