NZDF has a requirement for the supply of vehicle paint and associated products to be used primarily in automotive applications. Substrates will range from ferrous/non-ferrous metal, Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), plastic and wood.

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to establish the depth of the Vehicle Paint industry within NZ that is able to fulfil NZDF’s requirements.

The information solicited from the market will be used to:

a) Inform NZDF of the potential procurement costs.

b) Assist NZDF in the preparation of relevant future procurement activities.

Questions are encouraged and you may request that they are kept confidential providing that they are commercially sensitive. NZDF reserves the right to provide supplementary information to all respondents should a confidential question highlight a point requiring clarification to other respondents.

All enquiries regarding this RFI must be in writing through NZDF's SmartProcure message system. NZDF will endeavour to respond in writing to written enquires within two working days.

NZDF reserves the right to provide supplementary information to all respondents to this RFI.

NZDF reserves the right to amend this timeframe at any stage.
