The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) is seeking use this RFI to gauge the market capability for either permanent or contractor Master Black Belts.The purpose of this RFI is to seek information for the development of a business case to gauge market capability for either experienced permanent or contractor Master Black Belts.
NZDF has established a strategic initiative "Defence Excellence (Dx). As part of this initiative NZDF is currently running Lean Six Sigma (LSS) programme to improve it's efficiency and productivity. To realise this mission, NZDF has a requirement for Master Black Belts as Business Process Improvement Leaders (BPILs). The BPILs will be required to:
• Run Dx LSS events in key value stream functional areas and realise measurable and sustainable benefits from the execution of Dx interventions.
• Contribute to the growth of a continuous improvement culture in NZDF by training NZDF personnel in the skills and methodologies of LSS.
Following the review of the responses to this RFI, NZDF will, at its sole discretion, decide whether or not to issue a formal RFP or RFT.
