This New Plymouth District Council tender will be accessible via Tenderlink, and is only being advertised via GETS. All further communications related to this tender will be conducted through TenderLink.
New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver the planned servicing, inspection, maintenance, compliance certification, and repair of commercial gas-fired boilers, water heaters, burners, and gas heating appliances across a range of Council facilities. We also require annual closed loop inhibitor testing at some of the sites. The successful contractor will provide both preventative maintenance and responsive reactive maintenance services to ensure Council's gas-fired assets operate safely, efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Our objective is to establish a long-term service partnership that supports the ongoing performance and reliability of Council's gas-fired equipment through a proactive maintenance approach. The contract will focus on maintaining statutory compliance, reducing equipment downtime and unplanned breakdowns, optimising operational efficiency, extending asset life, and ensuring timely and effective responses to faults and repair requirements. The successful contractor will be expected to deliver high-quality workmanship, comprehensive reporting, and expert technical advice to support informed asset management decisions and the continued safe operation of Council facilities.
