New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor with proven experience in coastal revetment maintenance, asset protection, and reconstruction works. The contractor will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance services that preserve the integrity of the Coastal Walkway and other coastal protection assets, ensuring they remain resilient to erosion and storm-related impacts.
Through this procurement, Council aims to achieve safe and reliable public infrastructure, compliance with statutory and resource consent requirements, protection of environmental and cultural values, and a strong working partnership with a supplier that demonstrates technical expertise, proactive communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
